Well, I was right about things picking up! This month I read 5 new books, and also put a few on the DNF list. I keep trying to read Quicksilver because I see all sorts of people talking about it, but I think maybe it is simply not for me.
That being said, I did have some fantastic reads this month.
The Beheading Game came recommended to me from a friend – and man was it a WEIRD book. I had so many questions by the end of it. I loved the over all idea, but the book itself fell a bit flat for me, personally.
That being said, Weavingshaw was fantastic, I loved reading that one so much and it was an instant 5/5 from me. It was one of those books where I needed a few days after before I started something new so I could just sit with my feelings for a bit.
Of course Witch Hat Atelier made the list, that manga has been my latest obsession and they are always a fantastic read. Let’s see where August brings us!
